WHY WILLPOWER DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK
Imagine a very young child stomping their foot in protest because they couldn't have an ice cream. They don't understand that maybe one ice cream was enough or that this is a another flavor of ice cream that will make them sick. That is your subconscious mind. We often feel that same frustration when we try to modify a behavior and fail.
It's NOT your fault and here's why
90% of your mind is your subconscious (emotional). 10% of your mind is conscious (logical). When it comes to logic and emotion, emotion always wins. So if your willpower is your conscious mind, it's no surprise why willpower doesn't work for everybody. The subconscious mind has a purpose, which is to keep you safe. Your subconscious mind regulates your physical self and your mental self by mirroring the past and sometimes this includes outdated behaviors.
You are always in complete control
When you're in hypnosis, you normally feel calm and relaxed. Hypnosis can be used to lessen, alleviate, modify or alter unwanted behaviors, interpretations, experiences, thoughts or feelings that are outdated and no longer serving you. In hypnosis you are always in complete control and able to listen to me as I provide hypnotic suggestions with guided imagery to help you achieve your desired goals and changes.
All hypnosis is self-hypnosis
Some people think they can't be hypnotized or they need to be in deep trance for hypnosis to work, that's simply not true. Much like when you're daydreaming, a light trance is all you need and you can make amazing changes. Most people are able to achieve a light trance in hypnosis. It's my job to get you into a hypnotic trance that's just right for you, using hypnosis techniques. Hypnosis is a trance like state in which you have a heightened awareness, focus and concentration and an enhanced capacity to respond to new and positive suggestions. Hypnosis is done by using verbal repetition and mental images. In Hypnosis, you generally remain aware of and remember what happens during hypnosis and although you're more open to suggestions during hypnosis, you don't lose your control.
