I am a Certified Hypnotist and trained in hypnotism at Whole Health Hypnosis Academy for Wellness Arts where I learned the latest in evidence-based cognitive, body-mind intelligence, neuroscience and most effective hypnotic techniques and methods. I am a Certified Hypnotist Member of the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) and the International Certification Board of Coaches and Hypnotists (ICBCH).
I enjoy meditation and provide sound bath meditation sessions with seven quartz crystal singing bowls and instruments for mediation groups on the North Shore in Massachusetts. I like to spend my free time with family, friends and my rescue dog named Trooper. Picture to the left is me and my rescue dog, Tori, who has since passed over the rainbow bridge. I imagine her spending time trying to chase squirrels and doing her zoomies with her old friends.
Hypnosis helped me overcome those invincible internal obstacles that kept me from being healthier, thinking healthier and making healthier choices. Before I became a hypnotist, I was a client who felt desperate and needed help to lose weight that I gained in a previous year or more.
When I first thought about using hypnosis, I didn't think it would work on me. I had no idea it would be the thing that could help me.
I felt like food was out of my control. I felt hopeless. I couldn't find a way to help myself enough to make changes. For some people, losing weight is easy. People would say, just don't eat that or just go to a gym. Honestly, it just wasn't that easy for me. I struggled every day to make the right choices and changes. I craved sugary, fatty, rewarding, comfort foods or easy take out foods. During COVID-19, I felt so anxious and depressed. I was eating all the time. I couldn't sleep through the night. I would wake in the middle of the night to eat, which is something I never did before. I felt hungry all the time and I had gained so much weight. I kept buying larger clothes, baggier clothes. I couldn't fit in my pants anymore. I was at my heaviest weight.
I had an issue that I couldn't fix and I felt stuck.
I had constant knee pain in both knees for many years. One knee worse than the other. I was getting multiple injections in my knees for many years. With the excess weight, the pain would keep me up at night. My doctor said I would need a knee replacement.
After my hypnosis, I became more in control of my eating. I noticed my incessant internal, negative self-talk and it began to change. I realized how that useless mind chatter was holding me back from making changes. I wanted new healthy changes. The changes we all want and deserve for ourselves.
I stopped eating during the night. I started sleeping better. I started actually liking healthier food options. I didn't feel "unsatisfied". I started feeling more confident and hopeful. I started searching for healthier recipes and learned more about nutritional foods.
Then, the extra weight started coming off. I started feeling more hopeful and happier. After dropping some weight and doing some really easy walking, my knee pain got better to the point that I didn't need a knee replacement and didn't need any knee injections. Most of my knee pain is now manageable pain and hardly noticeable.
Hypnosis helped me drop over 30 pounds and helped lessen my levels of stress and anxiety and negative self-talk. I sleep through the night now.
